About Beta Motorcycles
Beta began in Florence, Italy, in 1905, when Giuseppe Bianchi started building bicycles by hand. After the Second World War his son Enzo Bianchi and Arrigo Tosi moved the company to motor vehicles, and their initials (Bianchi Enzo, Tosi Arrigo) gave the brand its name, BETA. The first model, the CERVO 48, arrived in 1948, and from the 1960s Beta built its own engines. Beta says it is still guided by the same family.
In the 1970s Beta left road vehicles behind to focus on off-road motorcycles, and it now builds its bikes at its factory in Rignano sull'Arno, near Florence. It became a leader in trials, where Jordi Tarrés won three straight world titles (1987–1989) and Dougie Lampkin three more (1997–1999). Beta returned to enduro in the 2000s, won world constructors' titles in 2010 and 2011, returned to the Motocross World Championship in 2021 with the new RX 450, and marked 120 years in 2025.
Beta USA's current lineup covers enduro, motocross, trials and dual sport. The Xtrainer is the entry-level off-road bike, the RR X-Pro is the single-track trail bike, and the RR Race is the off-road race bike. All three are enduro models. The RX is the motocross line, in 250 and 350 two-stroke and 250F and 450F four-stroke versions for 2027. For trials there are the Evo, Sincro and Sincro Factory, and the RS is a dual-sport. Beta USA's models page lists no electric models.
Beta USA does not publish the length of its standard factory warranty on new motorcycles.

Extended Warranty matches our factory warranty coverage line-for-line, giving you an additional two full years of complete protection." "The B.E.T.A. Warranty conditions in the 2026 owner's manuals (retrieved September 24, 2026): "Any modifications and tampering with the vehicle during the warranty period exempt the manufacturer from all responsibility and invalidate warranty." (https://betausa.com/content/Owner%20manual_X-PRO_4T_USA.pdf) "The operations specified in the maintenance schedule must be performed exclusively at an authorised Betamotor workshop and must be registered on the Betanet portal. Failure to register will result in rendering the warranty null and void." (https://betausa.com/content/Owner%20manual_XTRAINER_EN.pdf , https://betausa.com/content/Owner%20manual_Race%202t_EN.pdf)
Beta USA says the RR X-Pro "serves as the bridge between the agile, entry-level Xtrainer and the race-equipped, high-spec RR Race models." The X-Pro is sturdier than the Xtrainer but simpler and easier to ride than the race bikes.
It is Beta's top enduro race bike. It has fully adjustable KYB suspension (a 48 mm closed-cartridge fork and a C46 rear shock), and the 2027 four-strokes add Launch Control and Quick Shift.
Beta USA's manuals list "RR & RR Race" models up to 2024. From 2025 they list the RR X-Pro and RR Race.
The RX is Beta's motocross line. For 2027, Beta USA lists the RX 250 and RX 350 two-strokes and the RX 250F and RX 450F four-strokes. The RX 250F is new, with its own engine and frame.
Both are offered. The 2026 RR X-Pro range has 8 models: 125, 200, 250 and 300 two-strokes and 350, 390, 430 and 500 four-strokes. The Xtrainer is two-stroke only (200 and 300). The RX comes in both.
Not on the RR X-Pro 200, 250 and 300, which have variable oil injection, or on the Xtrainer, which has automatic oil injection.
Beta calls it its most accessible enduro, for anyone from off-road beginners to experienced riders on technical hard-enduro trails. It has a low seat, light weight, electric start, a cooling fan and smooth, controllable power.
Yes. For 2027 the Xtrainer 300 comes in a standard model and a Lowboy model with a 34.6-inch seat, about 1.2 inches lower than the standard 35.8-inch seat. The Lowboy has the same specs except for shorter suspension travel.
The 2027 RR X-Pro seat height is 36.6 inches, almost an inch lower than the RR Race models.
Beta USA says its RS dual-sport models are "50 state street legal". It publishes no street-legal status for the RR X-Pro, RR Race, Xtrainer or RX.
Beta USA lists the Evo, Sincro and Sincro Factory. Beta says the Evo family is the base of its trials range, from the 80 up to the 300 4T and Factory. The Sincro is its newest design, with a hydroformed aluminium frame.
Beta USA's current models page lists no electric models. Beta's electric range is made up of small bikes for small riders.
Break-in takes about 15 hours. On the 2026 RR X-Pro four-strokes: use about 50% power and stay under 7,000 rpm for the first 3 hours, then about 75% for the next 12 hours, and change the engine and gear oil after 3 hours. On the 2026 Xtrainer: about 70% power and under 7,000 rpm for 3 hours, then about 90% for 2 hours, and change the transmission oil after 3 hours.
2026 RR X-Pro four-strokes: after 100 km (60 mi) or 3 hours, then every 2000 km (1240 mi) or 30 hours, and every 6000 km (3720 mi) or 90 hours. The 2026 Xtrainer's schedule ends break-in at 3 hours, then has services every 30 hours up to 180 hours. Scheduled services must be done at an authorised Betamotor workshop and registered on Beta's Betanet system to keep the warranty.
Beta USA does not publish the length of its factory warranty. For 2027 and newer bikes, dealers can add the B.E.T.A. Extended Warranty within 30 days of purchase. It adds two years, matches the factory cover, costs $990 for off-road models, is non-transferable and excludes pre-owned bikes.
