EBOX builds mini bikes for dirt and pavement. The V3 is a mini motocross bike with dirt wheels and 150 mm of suspension. The Dragster is a low minibike on 6-inch street tires. These models carry riders up to 187 lb.
How to choose: Pick the V3 for dirt, the Dragster for pavement and private lots. Then pick power: 60 to start, 60R for more pull and range, and 72V (V3 72RS or Dragster RS) for 6.3 kW peak.
Specs are as EBOX publishes them. Real-world range and speed depend on rider weight, terrain and mode.
About EBOX
EBOX is the electric bike brand of Stomp Distribution Limited, a UK pit bike company based in Petersfield, Hampshire. Stomp's founder, engineer Marc Brotherton, first built electric pit bikes with the manufacturer Kayo around 2012 but shelved the project because the technology was too expensive or not robust enough.
In 2019 his business partner Mark Meredith restarted the project, which became EBOX. The first models were the EBOX 1 and EBOX 2.
EBOX V3 pit bikes and Dragster minibikes include 60V, 60V "R" and 72V versions. These models use a PMSM motor with encoder and temperature feedback, an 80A Fardriver controller and a colour TFT display with three speed modes. The EBOX 2 V2 is an earlier pit-bike design. EBOX ships its US bikes from the USA.
EBX models (EBOX V3 and Dragster), from the current product pages:
"EBX 1 year/1000 miles (whichever comes first) powertrain warranty. 6 month parts warranty. See T&C's for more information"
"Our warranty has been increased to 1 year, (or 1000 miles) on all powertrain components (battery, controller, motor)."
EBOX 2 V2, from its product page: "6 months parts only"
Conditions, from the EBOX T&Cs:
"Stomp Distribution Ltd extends the following parts-only warranty, commencing from the original retail purchase date. Given that the bike/quad is delivered in a crate, it is imperative to have the bike/quad PDI'd by a qualified motorcycle mechanic. Failure to adhere to this prerequisite will result in the nullification of the warranty associated with the bike. To initiate the warranty claim, a copy of the bike's Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) must be provided."
"For eligibility under the warranty, it is mandatory to register the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) of the bikes with Stomp Distribution."
Battery: "Stomp Distribution guarantees the battery, encompassing any defects in materials and workmanship. In the event of battery failure within the stipulated warranty period, a replacement will be provided (All depleted batteries should be returned to Stomp Distribution for recycling). Diagnosis of a fault must be conducted by an authorized EBOX dealer." "Batteries will not be eligible for coverage if brake kill switches are removed or if the instructions outlined in the EBOX user manual are not adhered to." "Specifically, during periods of vehicle inactivity, it is essential to recharge the battery at least once a month until regular use is reinstated."
Motor, controller and other components: "This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. In the event of a failure of any of these components within the specified trade warranty period, replacement parts will be sent to be fitted by a qualified mechanic."
"Warranty invalid if EBOX modified or upgraded in any way. This includes but not exclusive to: Disconnecting brake switches; Bypassing BMS; Battery voltage changes or battery changes; Motor/controller changes; Other electrical modifications; Mechanical hardware changes suspension etc."
"Exclusions: This trade warranty does not cover the following wear and tear parts unless there is a factory defect: Tyres; Brake pads; Brake discs; Chain; Sprocket; Plastics; Wheels; Bearings; Suspension; Grips; Seat"
"Damage caused by water exposure, including but not limited to submersion, immersion, or exposure to excessive moisture, is explicitly excluded from warranty coverage. This includes damage resulting from riding in heavy rain, submergence in bodies of water, or exposure to water during cleaning or maintenance."
Claims: "To begin a warranty claim, please complete our warranty inquiry form." "You must provide proof of purchase, including the purchase date, and include a detailed description of the reported defect. Once the claim is verified, the company will, at its discretion, replace the defective parts."

Outside living spaces: EBOX says do not charge in residential buildings or garages, never leave it charging unattended, and use only the EBOX charger on a surge-protected circuit.
Charge it at least once a month, keep it around 80%, and don't store the battery above 40℃ or below 0℃.
EBOX rates the EBX bikes IP54 but says not to ride in wet or icy weather or immerse the bike. EBOX's warranty excludes water damage, including riding in heavy rain and washing.
On EBX models (V3 and Dragster), 1 year or 1,000 miles (whichever comes first) on the powertrain (battery, controller and motor), and 6 months on parts. The EBOX 2 V2 has 6 months parts only. EBOX requires a PDI by a qualified motorcycle mechanic, registered with Stomp Distribution.
EBOX lists any modification or upgrade (including disconnecting brake switches, bypassing the battery management system, battery, motor or controller changes, and suspension changes), removing the brake kill switches, not following the manual's battery care, and water damage. Wear parts are not covered unless there is a factory defect.
Peak power 3.7 kW, 5.2 kW and 6.3 kW, with 60V 18.2Ah, 60V 26Ah and 72V 25Ah batteries. The 72RS adds an LED headlight and a race handlebar with crossbar pad.
The V3 is a mini motocross bike with 14"/12" dirt wheels and 150mm suspension travel. The Dragster is a low minibike with 6" street tyres, a rigid fork (100mm inverted forks on the RS) and a quick-release battery.
